Polar CS400 'problems'

Anyone got any experience of Polar CS400 monitor can't download via USB IrDA and does nt pick up speed for sensor? Help?

Have you replaced the battery in the head unit? I had a CS200 and even though you can switch it on etc, if the battery is low it wouldn't pick up any sensors.
