Forecast was spot on. Nice sunny ride out of York over to Thixendale, then the heavens started to open at pretty much 11:00 on the dot. Rain proofs given a good test on the ride back into York.
9 of us out for the ride, just over 60 miles and 18 mph average which was mostly down to Pete doing monster turns at the front over some good undulating terrain. Thankfully, everyone came equipped with rain proofs, if not full length mudguards
