I'm not sure it will be that slow Phil. The reliability and challenge rides I've done this year have been harder than the races. Come out on a K ride for some proper end of season therapy.PhilBixby wrote:I'm planning on doing it as part of my "slow down, the race season's over" therapy. What time should we meet for a join ride-out from York? I haven't ridden this for years so don't know how long registration etc takes.
Hi Flying Finn
Below is my Garmin stats from last years event which shows a total climb of 1162 Metres.

Phil, it is usually a bit quick which should be ok for you but if you want a steadier ride you don't have to stick with the fast guys of course, this year the organiser has e mailed all us who have pre entered to say that due to the size of the group last year the police have requested that it's split into two groups I was given a choice and I opted for the fast group but how long I stay with them is another matter this year.
