Here's my suggested route (weather permitting of course) for this coming Saturday's H ride, departing 9am from the square.
Destination Bridlington, Wolds permitting that is! Approx. 100 miles
Many thanks to Arthur C for making it possible for me (and for showing me how) to upload map route files to the Clifton website now that the bikehike routes dbase is no more.

hmm, left mousing on the link above seems to open the file in IE, at least that's what happens on my pc. Not what we want...
If you right mouse on the link and then select, "Save target as" and get rid of the suggested XML file type, saving as .tcx instead, then the file successfully downloads to a destination of your choice. If you're using a Garmin then this tcx file needs to be copied to the Garmin's internal courses folder.
mmm, paper maps are really rather good, aren't they?

Well that was knackering, I don't know where I got the power back but for the last 25 miles I was cruising at 20mph on the way home, my hill performance was still broke though, I tried to do the short sharp one in stillingfleet at my usual pace on the way home and felt rather ill after the burst.
